Unit description
This unit is designed to acquaint students with leadership, management and quality issues facing today's hospitality industry. Students will learn how to improve their leadership abilities and develop an understanding of high - performance teams and employee empowerment.

On successful completion of this unit students will be able to:
1.Understand the difference between leaders and managers and what each concept encompasses.
2.Acquire and apply different leadership skills to the hospitality environment
3.Analyse quality management models and concepts and apply them to hospitality organizations
