Academics

American Hotel Academy's Philosophy

AMERICAN HOTEL ACADEMY presents itself like a centre of both higher education and vocational training for the hospitality industry, with an international specific.

AMERICAN HOTEL ACADEMY combines curricula, educational standards and certification from educational institutions and universities from US, UK and Switzerland, following these countries' tradition and experience in professional education and training for the hospitality and tourism industries.

AMERICAN HOTEL ACADEMY offers Romanian young people access to the same education / training, textbooks, internships and certification available if they would study abroad, within the partner institutions; instead this it is done here with costs adapted to the Romanian economic reality.

In the academy, there is an innovative academic environment, based on new teaching methods, combining theory and practice. Every student and his/her abilities are given a focused, personalised attention. The international aspect of the hospitality domain is inherent to every teaching fact.

From the begining, the students' abilities are developed by theory, pragmatical approach or extracurricular activities. The educational input becomes better with every connection the school has in the hospitality industry. Therefore, the students are to meet industry professionals who visit the Academy at regular intervals, or  even work with them during the internships.

The Academy expects its students to be fully engaged in the proposed academic path, to be firmly involved in the situations met during the educational process. On its turn, the entire AMERICAN HOTEL ACADEMY team offers the students its whole attention - from the first contact, when they are just candidates, during the admission process, then during studies, and then after graduation - to support every effort in building a success carreer in the hospitality industry.
