This financing plan is designed for students who wish to work while studying in order to obtain additional income to cover tuition costs.
American Hotel Academy develops the financing plan together with several partners in the hospitality industry from Brasov and its surrounding areas.
The number of places available under this plan is limited to 10 / year and are awarded to students who have limited financial possibilities to sustain education costs.
This plan is available for students who meet cumulatively the following conditions:
- Are enrolled in the undergraduate programme.
- Want to cover their tuition costs while working.
- Have no failed exams up to the date of the application for this plan.
- Have fulfilled to date, all their financial obligations to the school.
All those registered will be evaluated by the Internship Coordinator of the American Hotel Academy * , followed by the classic selection and interviewing proccess directly with employers, who have the last say regarding student employment.

- Placements are identified by the school.
- Jobs are offered for the duration of the academic year and do not interfere with the international internships.

How does it work?
- The accepted student is assigned to one of the American Hotel Academy partner units during the academic year **
- The monthly salary received by the student is used primarily to pay tuition costs and anything beyond that, if the retribution exceeds the monthly tuition costs, it can be used for their personal needs.
How can you benefit from this financing plan?
- Send the Work & Study Application Form to victoria.salandanan@aharomania.ro with the income statement until September 10, 2011. After assessing your personal file*, if you are accepted, you will be contacted by Mrs. Victoria Salandanan in order to commence the process of identifying the employer.
* For the second year students, the evaluation will take into consideration the personal history, the attitude and the academic performance, while for the new students it will be taken into consideration the personal potential, the interest shown in the admission interview coupled with the attitude and results obtained in high school.
** The duration of the placement depends largely on the employer. Depending on its needs and of course the student performance, the employer may discontinue this program. In case of placement disruption for reasons related to the student's performance, he/she will be excluded permanently from the program. If placement disruption occurs for reasons not attributable to the student, the school tries to find, but does not guarrantee a new placement.

American Hotel Academy does not guarantee any student placement through this program, the last word belonging to the employer and not the school.
This program does not guarantee financial support for students, because the employer's freedom for its interruption. All students placed through this program are advised to ensure that they have the financial means to continue their studies if/ when the placement will be discontinued.
