The American Hotel Academy is proud to announce exclusive opportunities for internships in the USA with International Trainee Network (ITN) and J-1 Designated Sponsor, Odyssey International Exchange. By engaging in an exclusive partnership, students from the American Hotel Academy are the only students in Romania that have access to these internships offered by ITN, a cultural exchange organization based in Los Angeles, California. ITN’s sister company and exclusive sponsor, Odyssey International Exchange, is a US Department of State Designated J-1 Intern/Trainee sponsor and will be providing all AHA students with J-1 visa sponsorship.

The exclusivity agreement between American Hotel Academy and ITN/Odyssey will provide AHA students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in luxury 4 and 5-star hotels and resorts across the United States. By participating in a J-1 program through ITN, AHA students will have access to ITN’s network of more than 170 luxury 4 and 5-star hotels and resorts along with the knowledge and expertise that comes with over 15 years of market-leading experience in the cultural exchange industry.

Through Odyssey International Exchange the visa application process is streamlined for the students’ convenience.

Aston J. Barnicoat, President & CEO of ITN and Odyssey International Exchange, believes that the American Hotel Academy is an example of excellence in the international education community: “The students of the American Hotel Academy are professional, educated and always prepared for these international experiences. We are proud to be the exclusive provider of J-1 programs for this institution and their student body.”

ITN and Odyssey will be providing 2 full scholarships per year for AHA students. AHA will have the opportunity to select these participants based on their internal criteria. In addition to the scholarships, ITN will sponsor a member of the AHA faculty to visit one of their students’ training locations every year, to meet with the hotel executives and their students in order to gain valuable feedback about the programs.

Mr. Sebastian Georgescu, the CEO of American Hotel Academy, explained the value of the timing of this partnership: “This comes at a point when we want to expand our market reach in the U.S. and this exclusive agreement ads tremendous value to our current and future educational products”.
