American Hotel Academy Students Experience World-Class Hospitality Education in Switzerland
Last week, American Hotel Academy students embarked on a life-changing journey to Switzerland, where they explored some of the most prestigious hospitality schools in the world. Through our exclusive study abroad partnership, they had the opportunity to experience the renowned academic environment of SHMS Swiss Hotel Management School, HIM Business School, and César Ritz Colleges Switzerland.
For our students, this wasn’t just an educational trip—it was an eye-opening experience that brought them closer to their dreams of becoming global hospitality professionals.
A Journey of Learning and Discovery
During the Discovery Event, students took part in a series of immersive activities, including:
✔️ Inspiring presentations on academic programs and career opportunities
✔️ Hands-on workshops with passionate lecturers
✔️ Guided tours of the campus facilities
✔️ Networking and cultural exchange over meals with international and Romanian students
✔️ City explorations in Brig, Montreux, and Leysin, enriching their understanding of Swiss hospitality and culture
A Stay to Remember
As part of their experience, students were accommodated at The Freddie Mercury Hotel Montreux, a unique training hotel that blends hospitality education with real-world practice. This setting gave them a firsthand look at the high standards of Swiss hospitality and the innovative learning methods used by our partner schools.
Celebrating Our Valued Partnership
At American Hotel Academy, we believe in providing our students with global opportunities, and this partnership with SHMS, HIM, and César Ritz Colleges Switzerland plays a crucial role in expanding their horizons. Through this collaboration, our students gain access to world-class education, international career pathways, and life-changing experiences that shape them into future hospitality leaders.
This study exchange is more than just a trip—it’s a stepping stone toward a global career, a source of inspiration, and a reminder that the world is full of opportunities waiting to be explored!
A huge thank you to our partners in Switzerland for making this experience so enriching and memorable!
