American Hotel Academy Welcomes New First-Year Students at Opening Ceremony in Brașov
The academic year at American Hotel Academy (AHA) officially began on 15th of September with the Opening Ceremony hosted at the Dramatic Theatre in Brașov. The event marked the arrival of the new first-year students, setting the tone for an exciting journey ahead.
The ceremony featured inspiring speeches from both academia and the hospitality industry:
- Ioana Turcaș, Academic Director at American Hotel Academy
- Anca Cristea, General Manager, Radisson Blu Aurum Brașov
- Dragoș Trihenea, AHA alumnus and current team member at Matca by Relais & Châteaux
Their words encouraged students to embrace the opportunities ahead, highlighting the importance of passion, resilience, and lifelong learning in the hospitality field.
Beyond the formal speeches, the day also emphasized connection and collaboration. Students participated in a treasure hunt designed to break the ice, foster teamwork, and create the first bonds of friendship that will accompany them throughout their studies.
