AHA Students Support the First Bocuse d’Or Romania- A Historic Milestone
On November 27th, Brasov hosted a major moment for Romanian gastronomy: the first-ever Bocuse d’Or national selection. What a day!
Congratulations to the winning team: Chef Vasilică Bejenaru, Coach Liviu Preda, and Commis Andrei Fabian Lupoi, who impressed the jury after nearly six hours of intense cooking, flawless coordination, and exceptional passion. Next stop: Bocuse d’Or Europe, France.
Behind the scenes, American Hotel Academy students played a key role in the success of the event- supporting logistics, assisting the competitors, maintaining professional workflow, and ensuring everything ran smoothly at an international standard. For them, this was more than volunteering. It was a hands-on lesson in excellence and a valuable step toward their future careers in hospitality.
We are proud to have been part of this historic first edition and proud of our students who embody the professionalism our industry demands.
Congratulations to all participants and thank you to the organizers (Asociația Națională a Bucătarilor și Cofetarilor din România) for such a remarkable milestone for Romania’s culinary future!
