Brașov’s public transportation network includes urban and metropolitan bus and trolleybus lines operated by RATBV.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday: 5:30–23:30 | Weekends & Holidays: 6:30–22:30
Prices (from 1 May 2025):
- Single urban trip (90 min): 5 lei
- Day pass: 20 lei
- 3-day pass: 50 lei
- Monthly pass: 110 lei
Metropolitan fares:
- Ring 1 (Cristian, Ghimbav, Săcele): 5 lei
- Ring 2 (Bod, Prejmer, Râșnov): 7 lei
- Ring 3 (Zărnești, Feldioara, Vama Buzăului): 8 lei
Tickets can be purchased from ticket booths, ticket machines, or online via 24Pay. Tickets must be validated upon boarding and remain valid for 90 minutes on any urban line.
The fine for traveling without a valid ticket is 500 lei, so please make sure to purchase and validate your ticket.
