    Let's start in Greece & Cyprus

    Our academy has partnered up with Atlantica Hotels & Resorts to deliver this streamlined practical experience. Thus, the best Atlantica properties serve as training sites for our first year students.

    Cosmin’s Internship story in Paphos, Cyprus

    Cosmin’s experience at Atlantica Mare Village Paphos is a testament to the power of determination, dedication, and the pursuit of one’s dreams. Get ready to discover the challenges he faced, the important things he learned, and the fantastic memories he made in Paphos, Cyprus.

    The first internship is designed so that all students can get hands-on customer service experience in Food & Beverage or Front Office operations. Students will be exposed to real-life work environments in rotational positions throughout different outlets of the property they are placed with.

    Choose your next level – Europe or the U.S.A.

    After their second academic year, students can choose between a 4-month internship in many more locations in Europe and a 12-month internship in USA.

    This is a big career step for our students, towards becoming experienced professionals. A longer commitment, more responsibilities, higher difficulty, but also bigger rewards.

    Let's go to the U.S.A.!

    Students will deepen the knowledge gained so far by immersing in hands-on training in the hospitality industry in a unique country like the United States.This internship takes place at four and five star ranked properties, selected by the school and visa sponsor organization.

    How challenging is moving to work in the United States?

    Sonia Olarescu and Maria Pop chose an U.S.A. internship, working and learning in the Samoset Resort, Maine and Delray Opal, Florida.

    It’s an incredible professional and personal opportunity. Career-wise, students achieve an entire new level and their lives certainly take a huge turn. More than this, visiting and discovering the U.S. is a wonderful adventure – seeing the Grand Canyon, the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building and so much more.

    For the second internship, many more locations in Europe unlock for our students: Ireland, Spain, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Luxembourg, France, Austria, Croatia or Romania. We are constantly looking for top locations to add to our portfolio as opportunities for our students.

    From Bartender to Fine-Dining Expert

    We are absolutely excited to share the incredible journey of Mihai Viorel Poppa Valsan, a proud graduate of American Hotel Academy, who has embarked on a remarkable career as a Demi-Chef de Rang at the prestigious Agli Amici Dopolavoro Venezia, a fine-dining restaurant, part of the JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa, nestled on the enchanting Island of Roses in Venice.

    Choosing Europe as a destination, students deepen the knowledge gained so far by either continuing their career at the same host company or by exploring a new one, in a different country, with a different specific. They choose their next career move based on the long-term career goals that they have set already at this point in their education.

    How does an alumni feel about past internships and the impact they had on their career?

    Find out directly from Pavel Bolgar, who graduated in 2019 from our BA program. Through great efforts and preseverance, Mr. Bolgar is now the MICE Sales Executive for Hilton on Park Lane Hotel in London – and we couldn’t be more inspired.
