Future Students Take Their First Step into the AHA Community
Some journeys begin with lectures. Others begin with friendships.
At American Hotel Academy, we believe that feeling part of a community starts long before the first day of classes. That is exactly what our Find Your Roommate event was all about.
Students joining our 1st year programmes travelled from Sibiu, Bucharest, Ploiești, Iași and other cities to spend an afternoon getting to know the people who will soon become their classmates and perhaps lifelong friends.
The event combined practical preparation with meaningful social connections. Students had the opportunity to submit enrolment documents, while a trusted accommodation partner introduced a range of housing options and answered questions about student accommodation in Brașov.
At the same time, our Admissions team worked closely with students and parents, guiding them through every administrative step and ensuring that the enrolment process was smooth and stress-free.
Meanwhile, something special was happening in our New York Classroom.
Led by our Student Services Coordinator, a series of interactive speed-friending activities encouraged students to introduce themselves, share stories, laugh together and quickly discover common interests.
Our Programme Leaders also took part in the activities, interacting with students and helping create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where everyone felt encouraged to connect.
There’s a unique feeling before starting school. You’re excited about what’s ahead, eager to meet your future classmates, but also a little nervous because everything is new.
On Friday, we witnessed those first emotions transform into genuine conversations, shared laughter and the beginning of friendships that will accompany our students throughout their academic journey.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us and trusted us with the start of this exciting new chapter.
We can’t wait to welcome the rest of the Class of 2026 this autumn, reconnect with familiar faces and create even more moments that make American Hotel Academy feel like home from day one.
