    Welcome to our Career Centre!

    AHA Career Centre aims to empower students with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to start a professional career, as well as to assist them with customized placements to succeed in their chosen fields. We strive to guide all our students towards a career path which is aligned with their personality, needs, and interests and for them to achieve a working professional role before the time of their graduation.

    It is an all-inclusive approach which allows students to access a variety of personal and career development services and programmes meant for their growth, so they can become easily employable in their industry of choice.

    Career Profiling

    Application of vocational and aptitudinal tests for self-knowledge. Getting to better know who you are.

    Career Coaching

    Takes place throughout the study programme, through one on one sessions for career planning.

    Online profile set-up: professional social media, online job platforms.

    Career Prep & Career Planning

    Create/review your CV and Career Portfolio. Interviewing Skills To Land Your Next Job / Managing Emotions / Ace Your Interview / Prepare for Questions.

    Annual Networking Event

    Annual conference: companies, industry professionals, students, alumni and academics.

    Employment Events

    On-site recruitment fairs and host company presentations

    Field Trips

    Field trips are «behind the scene» experiences in companies. They usually take place onsite, but they can also be virtual.

    Soft Skills Workshops

    Workshops (on-site, online) to develop like skills needed in the industry in which the student is studying.

    1.

    The process begins with students accessing a range of resources provided by the AHA Career Centre, which include but are not limited to career counselling, lectures and tutorials, vocational tests, professional networking events and coaching sessions, so students can explore their personality type, aptitudes, interests, skills, and values in relation to potential career paths.

    Our career advisors assist students in creating or refining their resumes and cover letters, and together they develop a personalized career path.

    Students are prepared by counsellors for employment applications through mock interviews and individualized coaching.

    The last step consists of identifying potential internship or employment matches and supporting students with the application process until the placement is complete.
