David Strafford
Academic Associate
David has a wealth of experience in designing and delivering both face-to-face and online education courses and training programs. He is currently a lecturer/tutor at universities in the UK, France, Switzerland, and Romania. He is currently an Online Tutor at Falmouth University, on their MA Creative Events Management course. He also teaches a range of UG and PG courses at the International Management Institute in Luzern, Switzerland, at the Institute Paul Bocuse in Lyon, France, and at the American Hotel Academy in Brasov, Romania. He has 10 years of experience lecturing at the Higher Education level (UG and PG) in the UK at Sheffield Hallam University and was their Collaborative Course Leader at SHAPE in Hong Kong for Events, Hospitality, and Tourism. He won six consecutive Sheffield Business School and two university-wide Sheffield Hallam University Inspirational Teaching Awards (in 2017 and 2019).
