COVID-19 – Safety comes first
In order to anticipate unfortunate situations and prevent the spreading of Corona virus (COVID-19), American Hotel Academy decided the following measures to be taken for the remainder of the semester:
• All extracurricular events are cancelled / postponed until further notice.
• All courses will be held online. Please note that lecturers will take the attendance for every course, even if it is online.
• All exams will be held online.
• Projects will be uploaded online, according to their respective deadlines.
In case any of our students are experimenting flu symptoms of ANY kind, they are kindly asked to stay home and let us know.
Regarding the internships, flexibility is essential. We will adjust ourselves (students, the school and our hotel-partners) to the situation that arises in every country. The internship period/location will be adjusted accordingly to the area in which students are supposed to complete their internship; school’s approval is required. The field trip to JW Marriott is cancelled, as well as all meetings & workshops for this semester.
