    Internships in 2024

All internships take place at four and five star ranked properties. The first internship takes place within a pre-set training location belonging to Atlantica Hotels & Resorts, while the second internship takes place either with a Host Company which is a school partner or with one which is chosen independently by the student.
The first two internships are part of the academic curricula, have credits and are mandatory for all students. The third internship provided by the school is optional, but highly recommended as it is designed to assist with the intern-to-professional transition and with covering the tuition costs for the top-up portion of the program.
Financial wise all internships have been designed by the school and negotiated with the Host Companies in an effort to maximize compensation. This way, students can cover tuition costs with their internships’ earnings.

    Fees, Funding and Earnings

Education is valuable, and value can’t come without a cost. But this doesn’t mean it should not be accessible. Our approach is: we can’t waive the cost, but we can find meaningful employment for you, so you won’t just cover tuition, but also gain income.

To achieve this, we alternate study and work periods, we choose hybrid higher education models and we work with just the right university partners and host companies. This way, by the end of the study programme you will have gained a good education, a degree from a British or European University, plenty of work experience and money in your bank account.

    dedication

If you're passionate, you can make it happen!

No matter how much money you have or don’t have, you can afford our study programme - if you’re willing to work your way through!

It doesn’t include subsidized tuition and gratuities on public services but instead it focuses on creating earnings that would cover the cost of tuition and turn profit for each student. It also makes our students financially independent at a young age and gives them the chance to rely on themselves, to be high achievers in life and to become the next strong pillars of our economy and society.

We drive a high-value model, which is opposite to the low-cost model usually followed by traditional public higher education institutions. It has been designed so quality international higher education would be accessible to a variety of students coming from different social environments.

Students taking placements provided by AHA should be able to at least cover their tuition expenses by the end of Internship 3.

    (1) Earnings are exclusive of living expenses. Some Host Companies provide accommodation for free, some for a low rent, some not at all. Check with your Career representative all internship offers before applying for one.

    (2) Host Companies should be considered on other merits as well (training opportunities, standards of service, career development opportunities etc), not just short-term financial compensation. Our career representatives will advise on the best formula for you giving your individual circumstances.

    (3) Internship 1 earnings are guaranteed by study agreement.

    (4) Internship 2 earnings are guaranteed at no lower than $15/h by study agreement. They can also differ from one Host Company to another and can go as high as $25/h.
