How you will learn
This is a one-of-a-kind program, combining asynchronous learning (‘learn at your own pace’) with onsite optional activities (‘learning lounge’). This way you can balance your studies with your professional life and other personal goals. Do not worry, we will guide you and support you on your journey.
Depending on the course length (60 or 120 credits master), it takes one or two years to complete the study programme. The academic year is divided into two semesters, each containing two study blocks. In each study block, you’ll complete 2-3 courses. At the end of each block, you’ll have the opportunity to submit projects or take exams.
The 120-credits master’s covers 16 courses plus the Master Thesis, while the 60-credits master covers 8 courses plus the Master Thesis and its modules are all very specific to the programme’s specialization.

Learning Lounge
Students on this programme have exclusive access to a dedicated multi-purpose space – the Learning Lounge. Students can tap into various activities as part of this option:

Academic
Admission Requirements for the 120 ECTS course
Undergraduate degree (180 ECTS) with focus on economics or business administration.
or
Undergraduate degree (180 ETCS) in any field, plus completing two specific modules prior to course start.
Admission Requirements for the 60 ECTS course
Undergraduate degree (240 ETCS) in any field plus one year of professional work experience.
or
Undergraduate degree (180 ECTS) in any field plus three years of professional work experience.
or
Baccalaureate Diploma (or equivalent) plus a minimum of 6 years of full-time professional experience in a field relevant to your desired study programme, including at least 3 years of full-time work in a leadership or expert role. These candidates will also be required to successfully complete a preparatory module consisting of two parts:
1. A seminar paper of approximately 40 pages (time for completion 12 weeks)
2. A 1/2-hour oral exam (colloquium).
English Level
We accept the following English language skills certificates:
– TOEFL (minimum 80 points) * or
– IELTS (minimum Level 6) * or
– Duolingo English Test (minimum 95 points) *
– PTE Academics (minimum 59 points) * or
– Cambridge Certificate (minimum Grade B) *
If English is your native language, or you have graduated from an English-speaking school or university, you do not need to prove your English language proficiency.
If you do not hold any of the above certificates, we can support you in taking the Duolingo English Test.
*Proof must not be older than five years.
Career Perspectives
Once you’ve completed the digital marketing master’s programme, and established your expertise in the field, you can expect excellent career opportunities across a wide range of industries, with plenty of options to advance into a managerial position. Some of the jobs you could pursue include Online Marketing Manager, Head of Online Marketing and Performance Marketing Specialist, among others.
Students can also access career coaching and customized industry placements delivered by the AHA Career Centre. This service is optional, but highly recommended especially for younger professionals who are still finding their path.
