Start of 20-21 Academic Year

Back at it, as they say.

The 2020-2021 Academic Year is well on its way and we couldn’t be prouder of our students, senior and freshman alike!

Just like with the Graduation Ceremony , preparing and organizing had to start early on, in order to ensure all safety standards are met and everyone can have a safe and enjoyable experience on their first day and week.

All our planning and preparing would have been for nothing if not for the cooperation of our students, who have helped us transform this event held in uncertain times into a certain statement:

We are here.

We don’t stop.

We keep going.

Make that 3 statements, because they have been a true inspiration.

This week’s flurry of a smaller Opening Ceremony and orientation activities happening simultaneously onsite and online seemed to fly by just like much of 2020.

With the current conditions, we have split the semester for Years I and II into 2 groups, each having 5 weeks of onsite learning, followed by 5 weeks of online learning, and vice-versa for groups that start online.

Year III will have classes exclusively online with biweekly meetings for dissertation sessions, project work, tutoring and career counseling.

Same rule applies for MSc students.

Our common efforts (students and staff) have made this possible and we would like to thank each and every one of you for doing your part in this.

Seeing you back in class, on the corridors and even on the screen is the greatest reward we can get.

Welcome back! Let’s make these years into something to remember.
