    The main audience for this programme: being at the beginning of their professional journey, the undergraduate programme is the ideal pathway through which students can gradually gain work experience and managerial skills for their future career in the global economy.

    Working Professionals

    Another target audience consists of industry professionals, who have career growth aspirations but lack the management knowledge and skills and the appropriate degree they need to fill managerial positions. For them, the Fully Online mode is recommended and Advanced Standing Entry is possible should they provide records of previous related studies and / or work experience.

    The Digital Business BA programme is designed to give you a complete understanding of business administration, computer science principles, and topics at the forefront of business development: data analytics and big data, business intelligence, agile project management, digital business models, corporate planning and simulation, introduction to low-code development, seminar in current topics in digitalization and cloud computing.
    After you have completed a series of courses covering the fundamentals of digital business, you’ll have the opportunity to choose from different areas like Marketing, Programming, Software & Data Engineering or many more.

    Industry Placements

    Although work placements are not a degree requirement for this programme, they are highly recommended as they are all designed to assist with the student-to-professional transition.

    Type:

    Internships, projects, full-time or part-time employment, event-based projects/jobs, shadowing experiences, management trainee programs, employment opportunities, other placement types.

    Duration:

    Most placements last between 3 and 6 months.

    Location:

    On-site (EU, U.S.) or remote (virtual) depending on students’ and host companies’ needs.

    Compensation:

    Can be paid or unpaid. The main purpose of the placement is to gain work experience and to make connections in order to secure a future job.

    Host Companies:

    A variety of types, starting from small and medium size enterprises to big corporations or NGOs within different sectors of the global economy.

    Marketing, Sales and Business Development, Operations and Supply Chain Management, HR, Product Development, Technology Management, Strategy and Business Analysis etc.

    J-1 Business Internships in USA

    Final year business students can apply for a one-year internship in the U.S.

    Objective: Internship programs are designed to allow foreign college and university students or graduates to come to the United States to gain exposure to U.S. culture and to receive hands-on experience in U.S. business practices in their chosen occupational field. The program bridges the gap between formal education and practical work experience.

    Training areas we are focusing on: HR, Finance & Accounting, General Management Assistant/Business Development, Marketing. Our team will identify a personalized J-1 internship or trainee program in the United States based on the candidate’s eligibility and preferences.

    Stipends range from 
    $15 – 20 /hour

    Note: Only current students can apply for placements. Placements are optional and students can apply anytime during their third year of studies. Regardless of the application time, placements will be offered according to the students’ previous work experience (minimum 6 months), knowledge, skills and attitude.

    Discount Policy

    Applies to students who pay the full yearly tuition until August 1st.

    Referral Program


    €250

    A discount of 250€ to the tuition fee will be granted to the American Hotel Academy student who refers our academy to their friends/ family/ colleagues.

    1. The discount is only received by the student who refers, not the one who is referred.

    2. The discount is earned when the candidate who was referred enters their 2nd academic year.

    3. The referred candidate must NOT be in our database already.

    4. You can be rewarded for up to 3 referrals per year.

    Employer Billing Plan

    This plan is for you if:

    • You are the employee of a company that wants to contribute to your personal development plan.
    • Your employer contracts the tuition fee.

    Who is eligible?

    • All undergraduate or postgraduate candidates (both EU and non-EU nationals).
    • Professionals for whom employers want to invest in their professional development.

    How does it work?

    When you fill out your application form, check the Employer billing plan box. In case you are accepted, you will be contacted by the Admissions Office to conclude the forms.

    Main benefits

    ○ You can get as much as 130.000 lei (or its equivalents in EUR or USD) without any guarantees.

    What type and how much income is needed?

    ○ Any type and amount of income is accepted – salary, pension, royalties, rent income and income from independent activities.

    ○ You are safe throughout the whole period of the loan via a life insurance that protects you and your loved ones in case of unemployment, temporary incapacity of work, complete and permanent paralysis of any nature and death of any nature.

    Entry Requirements

    Academic

    High – School Diploma. The admission process can start before graduating from high – school, but the candidates must have graduated before the commencement of classes with AHA.

    English Level

    We accept the following English language skills certificates:

    • TOEFL (minimum 80 points)
    • IELTS (minimum Level 6)
    • Cambridge Certificate (minimum Grade B)

    If you do not hold any of the certificates mentioned above, we present the option of taking the Duolingo English Test, which requires a minimum score of 95 points.

    Minimum Age

    Students need to be at least 18 years old. The admission process can start before the age of 18, but the candidate must have turned 18 before the commencement of classes.
